UrbanBloom: Social Media PSA Campaign

Focusing on Education
Some graphics I created paired with informational captions that act to educate the audience on what plants are great to grow in small spaces, plant care, and how to address issues such cramped spaces and limited natural light.

Though Urban Bloom was a school project with the prompt being “sustainability,” I wanted to challenge myself to pursue a unique concept within the prompt: reducing food miles by promoting urban farming. Because I chose to do a social media campaign, I wanted to focus on keeping the graphics engaging and vibrant—pushing for an aesthetic that I hadn’t explored before.
Making it "Pop"
By creating a bright, eye-catching visual identity, I aimed to stop the scroll and direct the viewers’ attention to the information in the caption. I wanted to push the bounds of my own comfort zone by experimenting with more saturated colors and detailed typography.
